Description
Much like the RADBAG Original, but straight-cut and with a full-length zip so that you can:
- Easily get in and out of it without having to wriggle in like a regular bivvy
- Zip two RADBAG Z’s together to form a cosy bag for couples (or even a close-knit team of 4 in an emergency)
- Lay it flat as a groundsheet or picnic blanket.
- Use it as a tarp (it has loops at the corners and in the middle)
- Drape it over your gear to protect it from dew.
- Dimensions: 2m long by 76cm, straight-cut
- Weight: 470g
- Full-length zip
- Drawcord at the opening (can be fully enclosed)
- Stuffing bag attached (packs down to 15 x 15 x 5cm)
- Loops attached at the feet for hanging up to dry.
- Double-stitched and reinforced seams
Comfort Temperature Rating: +- 12 Degrees
If the temperature is moderate to warm, you can sleep straight inside the RADBAG – maybe with a thin liner (+ 5 degrees). If it is really cold or you will be sleeping out for the whole night, then you would climb into your sleeping bag and then into the RADBAG.
The bivvy bag serves the purpose of keeping out the windchill. It features a drawcord at the top to be pulled tight over your head with an open slit for breathing – isolating your body heat inside the cocoon.
